John and Jamie are joined by the Creative Director of Rules and Lore for Pathfinder (best title ever) Luis Loza as they talk about Luis's journey to his current role, the new Draconic Codex that he's so excited about, and also news on Magic's new sets and how it's padding Hasbro's margins. Jamie also dives deep into some of the changes at GAMA to be more proactive in the board game world. 

With Jamie out and about, John calls in Alexis and Co-founder of Rio Grande Games Jay to speak on Jay's career in the industry, as well as what GAMA is doing to help local game stores, what CMON is selling off next, and is the next big industry event in...dubai?

Jamie and John realize that Jamie lives "um actually" every day, then explore problematic settings, GAMA's lawsuit success, and start getting excited for FlatCon!

Jamie and John are back from GenCon, and can confirm are 50% free of covid! But what the did pick up is a lot of info on new games we love, games we didn't care for, and surprises that were had! But don't worry, we're still relevant, as we talk about Diamond's continued disaster, WOTC bringing the Magic to Romantacy and K-Pop, and how Gamefound still has problems. 

Jamie and John sit down to discuss all the moving and shaking going on in the industry, how warhammer is now going to be hit by tariffs a bit harder, and how John had to stop being an adventurer because he took an arrow to the knee...I mean chest.
